🇮🇹 Alcuni anni fa mi è stato regalato un microscopio che è rimasto a lungo chiuso in un armadio, sigillato dentro la sua valigetta. Poi ho iniziato ad utilizzarlo e mi sono appassionata a questo strumento: ho scoperto che esiste un altro mondo intorno a noi, un mondo magico, popolato di minuscole creature, capace di stupire per la sua bellezza.
Desiderosa di condividere i miei scatti, ho creato la pagina Facebook “Microscopiok” ed è stata per me una piacevole sorpresa constatare che le immagini della natura, osservate attraverso le lenti del microscopio ottico, interessano persone di età diverse, che provengono da aree geografiche anche molto distanti.
Ho scritto questa piccola guida perché ritengo possa essere utile a quanti iniziano ad esplorare il mondo microscopico. E’ il riferimento che avrei desiderato quando ho cominciato le mie osservazioni.
Navigando in rete, capita di imbattersi in immagini molto belle, ottenute col microscopio ottico oppure elettronico, attraverso tecniche sofisticate. Tuttavia, anche con strumenti semplici, relativamente poco costosi, si possono fare delle belle osservazioni.

🇬🇧 A few years ago, I was gifted a microscope. For a long time, it has been locked in a cupboard, sealed inside its case. Then, I started using it and became passionate about this instrument: I discovered that there is another world around us, a magical world populated by tiny creatures, capable of surprising us with its beauty.
Eager to share my shots, I created the Facebook page named “Microscopiok”. It was such a pleasant surprise to witness how the photographs of nature, observed through the lenses of the optical microscope, interest people of different ages and coming from very distant countries.
I wrote this easy guide because I think it would be helpful to those who are starting the exploration of the microscopic world. This is the guide I wished for when I began my observations!
Browsing the net, it happens to find very pleasant pictures obtained with an optical or electronic microscope through sophisticated techniques. However, even with simple, almost cheap instruments, some nice observations can be made.
